Solange Broke the Internet (And Disabled Her Comments)
What happened when Beyoncé's sister posted spiritual altar photos

When Solange recently posted images of her spiritual altar setup on Instagram, it sparked fierce debate online. Some praised her "unapologetic" stance, others called it "demonic," and she eventually disabled comments altogether. This controversy highlights how orisha worship, particularly devotion to Yemoja/Yemayá (the "ocean goddess"), is becoming increasingly mainstream.
But what appears as harmless spiritual exploration carries serious Biblical warnings about divination and communicating with spirits other than the Holy Spirit.
The Destructive Reality Behind Yemoja
My research revealed concerning aspects of Yemoja worship that align perfectly with Biblical warnings:
Violent Spiritual Manifestations: Yemoja is described as capable of being "quite destructive and violent, as the flood waters of turbulent rivers" when displeased. Her "Queen of Witches" aspect can "make one's life very miserable."
Divination Dependency: Practitioners must constantly consult spirit mediums and perform divination rituals - practices Scripture explicitly forbids (Deuteronomy 18:10-12).
Animal Sacrifice Requirements: The religion demands regular blood sacrifices, directly contradicting Christ's final sacrifice (Hebrews 10:10-14).
Spirit Possession: Followers seek to be "mounted" or possessed by these entities - the opposite of being filled with God's Holy Spirit.
What Scripture Says
"Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the LORD." - Deuteronomy 18:10-12
"But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen." - Matthew 6:6
Former Practitioners Speak Out
I found testimonies from people who left orisha worship, reporting: "Some people have died or lost their minds engaging with the occult and Orisha Tradition." One former practitioner asked, "How can these be good spirits if they're being cast out in the name of Jesus?"
The True Living Water
Jesus declared, "Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them" (John 7:38). Why settle for counterfeits that demand blood, money, and submission when Christ offers freely flowing living water?
The ocean goddess may promise nurturing, but Scripture shows us that only our Heavenly Father provides true security, peace, and eternal life - without costly rituals, animal sacrifice, or spiritual bondage.
"You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve." - Luke 4:8
Stay anchored in Christ, beloved. The living water He provides never runs dry.
I remember hearing that Solange frequents those demonic stores and purchases these type of things but here it is right here plain as day in our face. People have been saying for years it’s cab y’all are conspiracy theories or haters know this stuff is actually happening and I believe the entire family is in it.
I saw this and Miss Tina reposted it and I was like wait is that a candle and a doll? So I’m assuming she didn’t care to post it because people are with ancestry worship.
